I have just read in the Daily Express today (Sat 21 May), that thugs shot 2 ducks in a lake in Potters Bar, HERTS.

The RSPCA managed to capture one of the ducks with metal bolts sticking out of its body, but the other duck escaped. The captured duck had a bolt sticking throught its back and into its leg. It is being treated for injuries.

Apparently, the bolt was from some kind of crossbow, and must have been fired from a close range.

This is horrendous, I just don't know why anyone would do such a horrible thing Angry .

Does anyone know which lake it was on or any other information???
Why Blink ?
The people who did this must have "issues".
It was at Oakmere

The story from the local is <a href='http://www.barnettimes.co.uk/news/localnews/display.var.599950.0.hideous_attack_on_ducks_in_pond.php' target='_blank'>here</a> though the picture in print was more shocking than the one on the web page.

Apalling, who on earth even has posession of a crossbow, let alone using one? What possible reason?
