In not sure how many people in Potters Bar have a CB radio.
Yes, more chat on this site please! It's getting very quiet.
How can we get more people to get onto the site and to contribute?

The use of a CB radio is free but buying one isn't, they are about £80+ according to my research on the internet. If someone is on this site and sees your advert for this, chances are they already use the internet and have a computer so its probably easier to talk about Potters Bar here where everyone can participate.
yes but if you but a half decent mobile how much will it cost?? prob more than a cb radio
I think the most simple to chat by voice for free is to use voiceip software like skype, isn't it ?

I use it to communicate with my french friends and the result is perfect (better than the land line Wink )
Skype is great - I have tried it before but hardly ever use it. It really is useful for worldwide calls, like from here to France. They have just launched a VoiceMail service I think and there is the service which lets you call from landline/mobile to computer and vice-versa.
Unfortunately the VoiceMail and the new service to have a local number for your skype (+44... for here) are not free.

The call from Potters Bar (with skype) to France costs only 0.02€/min B).
I think it's less than BT for the local calls. Tongue

Well I suppose they have to start making money with all the staff and the voicemail has to be stored somewhere, eg. their servers. Also, the calls to and from convential phone lines will have to cost Skype something, so thats why they have to charge.

But the 0.02 Euros to France is great Huh !
