I know of the three local papers, Barnet Times, WH Times and PB Press, but which ones are delivered free and which do you pay for?
I used to get the Barnet Times but this stopped a couple of weeks back. I had been buying the WH Times at the station, but last week we got a WH Times delivered free! I was under the impression this was a pay-only paper!
I have contacted Barnet Times before but they said as a free paper they are only interested in claiming a certain circulation to attract the advertisers - so they don't routinely add people who aren't already getting the paper free as it makes no difference to the rates they can charge advertisers.
I think of the three, the WH Times seems to feature local stories the most, next The PB Press (harder to find to buy) an last the Barnet Times which has mostly nothing about PB but lots about Barnet, Golders Green and Colindale.
