just wondering what the rules are in regard to offering services?
I dont want to mention what service I offer (small, small scale) - as that would be cheating!
I saw the classified bit at the top - but seem unable to get in to it?
Any info would be great

Hi,
The Classified Ads section was taken down after changes to the forum software which meant they wouldn't work together any more - and the low usage of the facility at the time meant that I couldn't justify spending the time recoding it.
I was however, thinking about setting up a sub-forum for classified adverts - this would be easy to manage for me and people could add images if they are selling something for example.
I would like to know if anyone else has any responses on this matter. Should a Classified Adverts sub-forum be set up at PBCF?

I would say no.
If I want to buy something from the classifieds then I go to eBay.
This forum is still in it's infancy with only about 100 members after 2 years. Classifieds would turn me off straight away.
Smiler, I would be inclined to agree with you – the forum does not have enough members to justify setting up a Classifieds area – and I definitely agree that it would somewhat detract from the forum if a Classifieds area was set up at the moment.

Sorry, did not really mean classified (like ebay) more like services (photography, plumbing etc)

Thanks for asking (instead of just posting straight away) but sorry, but I think that for the moment and foreseeable future, there will be no Classified Adverts including the promotion of services at this forum.
