Potters Bar Forum

Hey everyone,

I was a pupil at sunnybank infants and juniors about 10 years ago. I adored this school and i am so shocked that there are plans to close it. As i am at university i dont live in Potters Bar anyone so am not up to date of the news and nature of this whole issue. Could anybody briefly bring me up to date on the news?

I have forwarded an email to all my msn and emails contacts informing them of the threat of closure and have asked everybody if they would sign the online petition. I hope this gets more signatures for you.

This school was wonderful, so many great teachers and i honestly had the best time there. The staff were very caring and you could tell they loved to teach when i was there and im sure that hasnt changed a bit.

I will be so sad if this school closes

It is great to hear of your support, we all to hope that Sunny Bank doesn't close, because it is still a great school.

The next step is: We are planning to attend the Education Panel meeting at HCC on 12 September to present our petition of about 4000 signatures. They decide at this meeting which of the 3 options to put forward for a decision to be made by the Cabinet panel in October. Thanks for all the signatures. If you know of anyone who wants to come along with us on 12th please call the school office on Monday.
