hi there....... i was wondering if u could help me i want to be a colourist (Only) and i cant go to college and i need to be in full time work because i have a 3 yr old do u no of anything i can do and how long it will take for me to train Unsure
I don't know alot about hairdressing Wink , but I would suggest asking these questions to hairdressers in the local areas. I would suggest that you use other skills you have, such being able to use a computer, at the moment, to earn a income, and you could try local colleges such as <a href='http://www.oaklands.ac.uk' target='_blank'>Oaklands</a>, to see if they offer an evening courses or part-time courses to learn the haridressing skills that you require for your chosen career.

A friend of mine, who is now a hairdresser was in the same position as you and got all her qualifications by doing an evening course - 1 evening a week (3 hours) for 30 odd weeks and got her NVQ qualifications. I don't know if that is an option for you.
