This is terrible - £15 for the call, please let everyone know about this! They must have already gotten a few people.

BT will put in premium rate barring for free which will stop calls to these numbers which is worth doing. There are cases of people asking to use the phone and then ringing their own premium rate number, or lines can be intercepted at streetside cabinets to do the same, of course, BT will not believe you didn't make the calls!

Also the con with the companies dropping leaflets asking for clothes which they then sell on to people (not the charities which leave bags). I have had three or four of these in the last couple of weeks. It's sad to see people fall for this leaving bags of clothing which could go to real charities, and not companies intent on making money.

I don't know how people can live with themselves.
