Hi everyone who cares about Sunny Bank and all the schools in the area. The letters and articles in this week's paper were brilliant again. Very intelligently put together. Well done all concerned. Do write letters even if you don't want your name or address put in print it will still count for a great deal and will make a big difference to our case we hope. If you don't want your kids school to close you have to get up and stand up for your kids and your rights and express an opinion, or you only have yourself to blame if a devastating decision is made because you have been complacent.
Agree wholeheartedly! But wonder whether those responsible for putting Sunny Bank P.S in this position are actually buying and reading the papers- if I were one of them I might not wish to see what people felt about my decisions so it may be worth sending them photocopies of the reviews personally. I'm sure some of them must be parents, or grandparents and wouldn't like this to happen to their school ( also suspect not one has a child / grandchild at Sunny Bank) At least they may read a few more lines into the letters.

<_< Yes good point Cathy, perhaps the more of us that do that the better. Did you get that very standard letter from County Council about putting our points of view across at public meetings. They should never fear, we will be speaking , writing, e mailing again and again!! until they stop this discrimination against Sunny Bank! They are so dishonest its not true. As you said before they have under-estimated our intelligence! Did they think we were just going to lay down and die?
I have emailed the candcidates for Labour and Liberal Democrats and got a very positive response from the Labour Candidate. It is worth writing to them - highlighting the anger and unrest. Think they may be missing a very good campaign topic which could swing lots of votes across the town. No response from Liberal Democrats though.

Their email addresses were not readily available so I contacted them through the Labour and Lib Dem Hertfordshire websites. Still no reply from Lib Dems though. What happened to old fashioned campaigning on your doorstep. The one year you are willing them to knock at your door - they don't.
