I am afraid that I don't visit this site very often. There are many reasons for this, perhaps one of those reasons is because of the last few comments. I, unlike others, do not mind being accused of 'trolling' Smiler - because I genuinely am not. Nor will I fly into a rage over it. I simply posted something I'd learned . You asked where the other two grren belt sites were and I genuinely meant what I said. I cannot be specific enough to say!! As for my source - why would I reveal that on a public website? Did you reveal your sources in the past?

Look at Hertsmere's Core Strategy - Preferred Options on their website please. It's a long document it will tell you that 5000 homes are to be built in Hertsmere - and that 30% of those 5000 will be built in Potters Bar. 1500?

Agreed .. though for Thai it's Thai Rack for me - I haven't tried the Royal Elephant yet. I think when we were in the market for Thai it didn't seem to have the Massaman curry?

Further afield the White Hart pub in South Mimms does very good home cooked lunches and I've heard good reports about food at the Strafford Arms too.

Follow this up, been back to the Old Manor a couple of times in the last few weeks and it really is very good in the restaurant. Particular favourites, the steak and ale pie (which is home made, having asked), the set menu with soup starter and chicken main for £9.99. Most impressed :)

Old Manor is my favourite restaurant in PB bar none. Ribs and sweet potato chips are A1.

Chilli Raj for currys.

Buffet Palace for Chinese.

Royal Elephant for Thai.

You either know the info' or your trolling. Jaf was perfectly reasonable in asking the other two areas and also what your source was

Interesting! One of the mayoral candidates had a commitment to bring some stations into Z6. This commitment was rubbished by another candidate who said it wouldn't happen as they would need to be in a London Borough for this to happen. Shouldn't believe spin ;)
